Hey KCI! Want to treat your valentine AND make a donation to Haiti at the same time? Then send a KCI Cookie Gram! Come to room 174, pick up an order form from the folder on the door, fill it in, and return to Ms McCord or Ms Collins in Room 174. On Friday, KCI Hospitality students will deliver a heart shaped cookie, with your personalized message, to your valentine in their homeroom class! Cookie Grams are just $2.50 each, with $1.00 going to help Haiti. Orders must be received by the end of the day on Wednesday.


Torch

The charity reps have been hard at work getting ready for this semester's Friday TORCH collections.

We will now be collecting during your MSIP period - your collection envelop will be in your MSIP folder - once collected please send a student down with your money and have him/her give it to Sue Usher.

Money this week (and next Friday) will be going to the children's ward at Grand River Hospital.

Money collected on Feb. 26th and Mar 5th will be given to Hogar de cristo ( a Chilean NGO).  All money collected will go directly to aid in the purchasing of supplies/materials that they need to help build a nursery.  We are hoping to raise awareness at KCI "about the small things people can do to better the world".
